KY Derby Festival Marathon - 04.24.2010

2010 Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon, presented by Walmart. The races, which will begin simultaneously at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, will now start near Iroquois Manor Shopping Center and will finish at Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville, a 500,000-square-foot entertainment venue located within Waterfront Park. The Marathon course will also include a slightly longer loop in Jeffersonville, Ind., with competitors running alongside the Ohio River.

Breeders' Cup 2010 - 11.05.2010

Breeders' Cup Returns to Louisville. The event will be held at Churchill Downs on November 5th, & 6th, 2010. Breeders' Cup Chairman William S. Farish Jr. said. "Churchill Downs has proven to be an outstanding Breeders' Cup venue and is extremely popular with our horsemen and fans from around the world." The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky September 25 - October 10, 2010. Now with the announcement of the return of the Breeders' Cup to Louisville 2010 has been dubbed "The Year of the Horse" in Kentucky.
