Our Kentucky cabin rentals offer many possibilities for you to experience Taylorsville Lake and Louisville Kentucky has to offer.  The following services are available Memorial Day through September 22nd and are subject to  change without notice, weather permitting. If you reserve one of our services and the weather is not conducive, you will be refunded if you provide notice to our guest services department, and they have verified the information.

Enjoy kayaking on beautiful Taylorsville lake. Kayaking is a great way to relax and enjoy the nature scenes along the shoreline.

Private tours of the Kentucky Bourbon and Derby Region
With advance notice, you can book a regional tour of the area that will provide you with stops along the way to the bourbon distilleries,
gourmet restaurants, wineries, and some of Kentucky’s most prestigious horse farms.

Rest and relax poolside at our on-site outdoor swimming pool. Whether you are looking to get some summer sun or wanting to make a big splash, the swimming pool is the perfect place to enjoy the warm weather, mingle with friends, and make the most of your Kentucky vacation.

Cruises

If you'd like to enjoy a panoramic tour of Taylorsville Lake, Edgewater Resort offers cruises Friday and Saturday in June and July only.

Four day advanced reservations are required at the time of your primary reservation, subject to availability and weather conditions.

Outdoor Camp Fire

What better way to end a day on the lake or at the pool then roasting marshmallows over an open fire under a star lit sky in one of Edgewater’s in-ground fire pits? The fire pits are located near the playground, by cottages 51 & 59, and back by the pool. Availability is subject to weather conditions. Firewood may be provided if requested in advance of your arrival.

Scavenger Hunt

For children and young adults visiting the resort for an extended stay, we offer an outdoor photo scavenger hunt with tokens and prizes! To insure an element of surprise, we highly recommend advance notice prior to your stay.

Hiking

Edgewater has a few short hiking trails that can easily be enjoyed. They are perfect for a simple walk in the woods, or you can enjoy exploring along the stream which leads to a cove of the lake. You can also enjoy an early morning hike down to the lake and watch the sun come up over the water.
